Our Beginning
We started in Pest control working for large corporate companies. While we loved what we did, we did not like how our customers were treated as a number and not a person. After a few years of this we tried to work for smaller companies and found that more often then not that they treated the customer great, but lacked the knowledge necessary to provide the best service. So, we started in January of 2025 with one goal in mind, to provide the best possible service to our community at a fair price. That’s why our motto is “Quality Service From Local Technicians.” We want to provide the skill and knowledge of the larger companies with that local business feel.
Meet The Owners
Co-Owner
William (Jay) Anderson:
My name is William Anderson, but everyone calls me Jay. I grew up in the Fox Valley where I graduated high school and met my friend and co-owner Desmond. I got into Pest Control in January of 2022 working in Green Bay, and since then have fallen in love with the job. I moved to Stevens Point in 2023 after my wife got a job in the school district and now works in the Central Wisconsin area, where I am based out of Plover. I am licensed in structural Pest Control(7.1), Turf and Landscape(3.0), and Termite Control(7.3) as well as being a State Certified Master Technician.

Desmond Holmes
My name is Desmond Holmes and I am the co-owner and operator of JD Pest Control. I’ve been making my living in Pest Control for the last five years of my live, though I’ve been working since I was 11 back in elementary school. I started off working for my Step-Father’s construction and remodeling business while going through schooling, and like many others when I graduated high school I went straight into the workforce, where I eventually made my way into the Pest Control Industry. I doubt many people think of Pest Control when they think about a lifelong career I certainly didn’t at first either but much to my surprise here I found my passion! My friend, fellow Pest Technician, and now co-owner, Jay, is the one who finally convinced me to leave Corporate Pest Control and start our own company, which is something I’ll always be grateful for.
